Ash WednesdayDate:
Wednesday, February 18th, 2026 "Ashes-to-Go" Times: Morning: 7:30–9:30 AM Lunchtime: 11:30 AM–1:30 PM "Ashes-to-Go" Location: Christ the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (600 Shepherd Ave, Hamden) Ecumenical Service Location: TBA Ecumenical Service Time: 7:00-8:00 PM Details: This Ash Wednesday, our church is taking part in two special events here in Hamden. Rev. Milton will offer Ashes-To-Go from your vehicle at Christ the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (600 Shepherd Ave.) from 7:30–9:30 AM and again from 11:30 AM–1:30 PM. In the evening, we will gather for an Ecumenical Worship Service at 7:00 PM, with music provided by the Hamden Clergy Band; the location for this service is to be announced. We hope you will join us as we begin the Lenten season together. |

Annual Soup LuncheonDate:
Sunday, February 22nd, 2026 Time: 11:00am-1:00pm Location: Church Hall and Parlor Details: Join Us for ‘Souper Bowl Sunday’! All are invited to our Souper Sunday Potluck Luncheon on Sunday, February 22nd, immediately following our worship service! Bread & crackers will be provided Cookies & brownies for dessert are greatly appreciated! Bring a can of soup to support the Hamden Food Bank. As with our last luncheon, we’ll serve from the kitchen and dine in the parlor. We look forward to sharing a warm meal and fellowship with you! |
